Neil's birthday party!
Neil is now a big two year old. The pictures are in reverse order, so if you want to see them in order, start at the bottom of the post and go up. =)
Neil says thank you to Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Breanne, Aunt Kristina, Uncle Tyler, Scott, and Mike for coming to his party and for the cool new stuff!

Aunt Breanne opening Neil's new truck from Grandma and Grandpa Anderson. They all loved this truck. This is Gordon's favorite of Neil's presents. The boys had lots of fun playing with all of Neil's new toys.

Neil's new Mega Bloks truck from Matthew and I. Look, I was there! I recall it being rather warm in our house; perhaps that is why I am so shiny.
Neil was really excited about the presents. He was even drooling over them or maybe that's because he has been working on getting some teeth in. Those eye teeth sure make him drool lots.
Neil was much happier when I gave him a clean cloth to clean up. He ended up needing a little help, though =)

This is a little over two weeks ago. We went to another pavilion at Folklorama in Winnipeg. This time we went to the Russian pavilion. I liked this one because we were able to eat while watching the show. Plus we had great seats. The food was a little bland, but perhaps that is how food is in Russia. I don't know. The last picture is just one that I thought was cute of Neil and Gordon on our stairs the same day.

Matthew had a few days off of work, so we tried to keep busy. The boys went for a bike ride to Lockport to get ice cream, did some yard work, went to the park at Bird's Hill, went to Lower Fort Garry and went to the Phillipino pavilion at the festival this weekend in Winnipeg. We had lots of good times.
The festival was probably the most memorable activity. We had some yummy food and watched a pretty exciting show that kept the kids entertained the whole time.

The show was very well done.
These are pictures taken at the Lower Fort Garry. We didn't realize it, but once we got there, we found out it was free day because it was Treaty #1 day. That has to be the best when you decide to go somewhere and find when you get there that it is free! =) Plus they had a cool craft for the kids that day. Jamin made a leather drum keychain and gordon made a leather bracelet thing. I think that was the highlight for me. The boys really liked going through, the buildings, though. I had a little trouble get through the hallways when people were coming from the other direction because of my large belly. I kept getting behind the boys.

4 three year olds, 1 one year old, and a ten month old
I tried to help out a friend today. I watched her kids, her triplet three year olds and ten month old so she could spend some time with her husband on his day off. They are such great little boys those triplets. I was beginning to think this isn't so bad. It was even kind of fun. Everyone was happy and getting a long. Everything was going great until Gordon kept getting the boys to come upstairs with him. The second time this happened, I went upstairs told all the boys they need to come back down and stay downstairs. At this time I had to leave the youngest who was sleepy and ready for her bottle, so she was upset when I left her to go get the boys. So I took the toys they had, told them to follow me, and hurried down to the little girl. Three of them came soon after me and there was only one boy left to come down. Suddenly little boy comes flying down the stairs and cuts his chin open. So I had one boy with a gash in his chin, one upset little girl that wanted her milk right then and to be held, plus three other 3 year old boys that now I was suddenly scared to death that something could happen to them too, and thank goodness Neil was in bed otherwise I may have not made it through this day. I am just glad there were no broken bones. I was able to handle the situation and calm everyone down. By the time the parents got back after I called them I had bandaged the wounded, got the blood out of his shirt, fed the baby, changed her diaper, and had made a new rule that if any of the triplets wanted to go down the stairs they must hold my hand. Anyway, after today I really appreciate what my friend must go through all the time. I hope she enjoyed the time with her husband and hope that she doesn't have to spend too much time at the hospital seeing if Connor needs stitches. =S
